The Matheysin plateau is crossed by the Napoléon road. You can make a stop in Laffrey (6 km from the campsite) to admire the equestrian statue of the Emperor.

"La Mine image" is a museum devoted to the miners’ way of life from 1455 to 1997. You will go down an authentic 250-meter long gallery in order to make an immersion in the mining world. More information

There are many other places to see... For instance, 30 km away, you will find the city of Grenoble. You can go up to "La Bastille", walking or using the cable railway. From there, you will have an outstanding panoramic view on the whole city and the mountains. You can also visit Vizille and its castle and park.
